The App

Digitalisation for young people

Only 31% of young Europeans possess above-basic digital skills

THE PROJECT'S VISION is to equip young people aged 18-25 with specialised DIGITAL skills required by the labour market TO ENHANCE THEIR EMPLOYABILITY. Despite the widespread perception that the so called “Generation X” are digitally savy due to their active engagement on social media platforms, a significant gap exists between this familiarity and the actual skills needed in a professional setting. The European Commission report from 2021 indicates that only 31% of young Europeans possess above-basic digital skills. This highlights the pressing need for specialized training to bridge this digital divide. We want to equip young with key digital skills that are directly relevant to the labor market, like database management, collaborative document editing, data analisys and artificial intelligence.
